Maine Animal Coalition: Dedicated to the Elimination of Animal Abuse and Exploitation Through Education and Example

A Good Time Was Had By All at Maine Animal Coalition's Fourth Annual Vegetarian Food Festival! MAC hosted its Annual Vegetarian Food Festival on Saturday, June 21st in Portland, Maine. About 400 people turned out to learn about, sample, and celebrate a vegetarian diet. The 1/2 day event consisted of educational speakers, vegan food samples, exhibitors, vegetarian cooking videos, vegan products samples, kids activities, coupons, a raffle and more. The festival offered the public a great opportunity to sample vegan food from local restaurants, learn about progress on farm animal welfare issues, and connect with others interested in a vegetarian diet.
